Ranking mutation value
Rank a mutation by the value it adds to the item you already own: check the displayed multiplier, the item's base earnings, and how consistently you can obtain another copy. The best choice is usually the one that improves your active setup without forcing you to give up a more valuable drop.
Before you commit
Test changes on spare items first and keep an eye on update notes. If a mutation was recently rebalanced, verify its current in-game numbers before you trade, reroll, or rebuild your loadout around it.
